When PowerShell Core alpha (aka PS v6) was released, PowerCLI Core was released (as a fling) on the same day.
Unfortunately PowerCLI Core stopped following the release schema of PS v6 since PS v6 went into beta.
It would be a missed opportunity, imho, if PowerCLI Core RTM would be released too long after PowerShell v6.
I assume that we can close this idea as "Implemented"
PowerShell v6 RC2 and v6 release is imminent. PowerShell v6 support going forward would be a very good thing as this brings with it a whole heap of improvements to the underlying implementation of CmdLets as well as the obvious multi-platform support.
